Welcome to the SAYW Writer Registration Form.

Joining SAYW is free. As a SAYW writer you pledge to assist your local schools in educating young writers. This can be accomplished by classroom visits, lectures or workshops. By registering you are agreeing to have basic contact information listed in the directory so that you may be contacted by teachers and school administrators seeking writers for engagements. We ask that you consider discounts to any fees you may normally charge and would appreciate you considering free engagements especially for small schools that may not have the money for honorariums. There is always room for negotiation but profit taking is discouraged. The purpose of the Professional Writer Outreach Program is to get professional writers into the schools. Your participation can make the difference in a young writer’s life.
